Nearly one-third of American women report being physically or sexually abused by a husband or boyfriend at some point in their lives.

Partnership Against Domestic Violence serves the metro Atlanta area with two emergency shelters for battered women and children, and a 24 hour crisis hotline that handles over 20,000 calls a year.
