I like to tell stories. I have a few good tales of my own, like being thrown out of courtrooms on two occasions. Like chatting up Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean. Like concealing a revolver on my person, as a favor for a promising young rapper, as we walked through crowded city streets. More importantly, I like to tell the stories of others. The kid who will be the first in his family to go to college. The young adults using their faith to make small changes in their community. The fledgling band struggling through their first tour.

I shoot documentary, portraiture and fashion photography, and my work has appeared in magazines and newspapers around the United States and throughout the world.
